Accent’s president, Matt Kaprowy, introduced skinny homes to Edmonton with a desire to help more people enjoy the lifestyle mature communities have to offer while revitalizing older areas. Since he started in 2013, Matt has built more than 60 infill homes with the help of a small, creative and passionate team.
“Let’s face it, you could choose anyone to build your home,” Matt says. “But we live in our homes. We’re neighbours with our clients. We do our best for our homeowners because we end up being friends with them. We call it the Accent League. We host fun events to get everyone together, not just to say ‘Thanks for your business,’ but to stay connected, introduce our homeowners both personally and professionally, and to learn and improve.”
This isn’t simply a business, it’s a lifestyle.

At our request, he has regularly met with us outside of business hours (to accommodate our work schedules) and at our home (to accommodate our young family)..."
